Couldn't care what it is, if I where playing 10 million pounds for a player the least I'd expect where for him to be fit.
West Ham, uh did you think it was Newcastle? Idiot look a few lines up on the fixture list you are looking at. Did you see that I called you an idiot again?
Defo not SB's fault. I thought we played well but somehow this **** Pulis always ****ing does this ****.
At home, you play Newcastle who have more absentees ......... will Bruce have an excuse for that? I'd already clarified that before you posted although I'm sure you're more aware of your fixtures than me I wasn't looking at a fixture list, it's just from memory as best as I recall.
Injuries can happen to any player at any time, it's unlucky to get that many injuries in two games but to say it's not normal is just wrong, unfortunately it happens sometimes.
Are there any strikers you would have brought on that you think could have made a positive contribution?
The wall isn't to blame for that one, ELMO is. Why the **** he touched the ball in the 1st place is beyond me. McGregor had it covered
Didn't go and not seen any of the game. so can't really say much besides dissapointed by the result . :-(
Worrying. We looked toothless with our two main strikers on the pitch. We looked completely gumless after they'd gone off. Other than the back pass, which was entirely Elmo's call, what do you expect MacGregor to do in the nanosecond he had to make a decision, as he was sliding towards the ball, we looked solid at the back. We threw a point away. We never really looked like getting three. However, if we can't find a way to score, 'unlucky' 1-0 defeats is going to be our lot I'm afraid.
If there is a reason that a manager feels we lost than I have no problem having that manager vocalizing that reason. Its better than NP's strategy of blankly staring at the reporter after matches. So if we do lose when we play Newcastle the game after West Ham and Bruce feels it necessary to answer questions that reporters ask of him then I am sure he will provide a reason or reasons that he feels that we did not get a victory.
one worry is how we cannot get a restult against the teams around us - well what i mean is we cant play well against the teams around us
Sagbo or Maguire, or even Dawson. Brady was as poor as Sagbo on Sunda. Ince and Brady far to lightweight.
It was a daft challenge by Elmo, that's life; they put the free kick away and that was the only real difference between us from both a viewing perspective and BBC stats. We were unlucky to have to change the team so early and we can only hope the injuries are not too serious. Plenty of things going against us and they struggled to beat us, but they did, so let's move on and put it behind us. No blame on Bruce or anyone else, just the rub of the green.
Even though we lost we were unlucky to lose both strikers and then Elmo for me was at fault he should have just shielded the ball for McGregor to take. 0-0 would have been a fair result.
You would have left two attacking players out and instead put two centre halves up front? Can you imagine how much stick Bruce would have got for that?
