    Didn't we go through all this last year? Wasn't it all just a ploy to get a better contract? And if it isn't this time the lad can bugger off, it's been ages since he showed any of the form he had back when everyone was creaming over him.

    Could see it happening tbh. They'd pay his wages and could afford the transfer fee but would Ferguson allow it?

    Worried that Man United could try to replace him with Ba if he went. Ba bossed them the other night and is a similar player to Rooney - can drop off and find the ball as well as score.

    If he goes, it could be the catalyst to get this transfer window going like Torres was last year. Hopefully that won't mean any of our players leaving again because of it.

    I think he does want to leave, the standard of team around him is deteriorating, compare this team to the one that won the CL against chelsea, i think hes sick of it. Only question is where would he go? and how much would he cost?
