As I said, show her that video and then show her hwo they tie up the tubes and whichever looks less painful wins.

 

The snip is reversible a mate of mine got divorced after he had the snip. He had a reverse op and now has two kids with his new wife........the kids don't look a bit like him though, they are the spitting image of the milkman.

As to pain my brother in law had the snip in his lunch hour then went back to work.

The argument that you go fat is crap as well. I had it done after 3 kids when I was 38 I am now 53 and still the same weight........... 42 stone!

 

For God's sake don't do it LG,nobody would ever convince me to take this
course of action,however many kids I have.(and I've got two).

Seriously though,no wife,girlfriend,family member,best mate etc. would
ever,I mean ever convince me this was the right course of action.
One or two mates have done it over the years,but its not for me!

There is always alternatives,and its your body mate.

 

This thread's been a laugh, but seriously- if it doesn't feel right to you, don't do it.

 

Personally, I think it depends who decided there was to 100% be no more kids.

I have two boys and the mrs wants a girl. I refuse to have any more so said I would get chopped (three years later and I've still not got round to it).

Sounds horrible but the mrs had complications. Still doing hospital visits and there is a chance she will have to have all removed. Gets me out of it if that happens so part of why I'm hanging on

 

I've been stalling for ages now the pressure from the missus is getting worse though. She's playing the all I've been through card I can't find a good excuse to say no.

 

I got that prior to having the second when we discussed it. I just responded with 'you've never been kicked in the nuts'. Just as much point in the discussion as their input

 

I had an appointment to have mine done on Friday but cancelled because i had stuff on, long drive and such like.

I'm having it in the new year though, definitely. Got three kids and there will be no more, no chance. Sooner it's done the better but i don't want to be hobbling about over Christmas.

Yep. If you do it that it avoids any possible future partners wanting kids too. Yes it can be reveresed but the odds of it working again aren't great!

Plus you have to convince the docs that you don't want anymore kids and gave a good reason. I am sure that it would be similar to have it reversed.

 

Got 3 kids aswell and the thought of more is also very terrifying which is why I am torn on this issue, any more kids and I'm going to end up in a nut house.

 

Get it done. Problem solved for rest of life

 

They're doing mine under a local anesthetic which will be dead wierd, would rather it be general.
Being awake while someone has their hands inside my nut sack isn't that appealing!
