At the moment he is a great option for Sam to bring on as the legs begin to tire, he needs to learn from Defoe, who had a great game yesterday, what a move that was Defoe for Jozy a very rare bit of good buisiness on our part methinks.

 

He was definitely a breath of fresh air yesterday where it suited us to play away on the break with pace.l

But there was his lack of awareness around him at times, which needs to be trained out of him.

 

So good to have him back, dont think we have too many pacey players, he gives us another option, and his enthusiasm is brilliant

 

He was awful in the few games leading up to his injury mind. Ran down blind alleys constantly. Passing decisions were poor a coupl of times yesterday but Defoe was guilty of that too at least once.

Time will tell and jury's still out but he looks like he might mould into a good player

 

IF we go down. He.ll torture a lot of clubs down there.

 

there's a lot of work to be done before he's good enough to hold his first team place.
his awareness/ability to know when to make a pass is his major weakness, and his touch needs work. so bringing him into games as an impact sub is his best position for now. i love his attitude.

 

Agreed, I know Defoe was pretty pissed off by Watmore not recognising the simple pass a couple of times. If he can raise his awareness then he will be an awesome footballer

 

Would you start Watmore ahead of Khazri?

I wouldnt.

 

Still think he has the look of a headless chicken at times. The Norwich game was perfect for his pace and directness as they were pushing looking to get back in the game. For me he needs to do it at 0-0 and turn a game in our favour which at present I'm not sure he can do.

Give him a couple of years and another 30 40 appearances and then judge him I say.

 

Not at moment but different qualities : Khazi is an experienced quality playmaker -Watmore an inexperienced bundle of energy wiith an eye for goal - his time will soon come to be in team with Khazri - imo
As long as we do well continuing with 3pts on Saturday - not too bothered who BSA plays - just need in their onion bag -
