I agree with what most people have said regarding the fee, IF it is as reported 3.5 / 4m it's a bit of a joke when Ash Williams went for 9m and is older. Having said that we don't know the full story. I suffered with some personal family issues last year. The first thing I did was to sell my business so I could look after my mum, my brother moved out of his house and moved in with her. My business was a live music venue with many loyal customers, I got a lot of **** online because there were issues in the transition and my head was not really right at the time. Of course on Facebook and forums people made up their own reasons why things had changed, put 1 and 1 together and got 7. So in my experience there may be more to this than meets the eye. Possibilities might be the fee is 4m all up front. A lot of times the fees are spread over several years with monthly payments and add ons. There may also be no agents fees involved and Kaboul may have wavered all rights to bonuses. The thing is we just don't know. The net result might be a decent one for the club. I hope this is the case as like everyone else I am fuming about us selling such a key player for such a low fee.
It does look bleak but on the flip side we always moaned the squad was filled with too many average players now it is at bare bones I can only hope we get the real deal 3 to 4 we need before the window closes
