last time I went to Watford away there were plenty of places allowing away fans in, they’re a friendly bunch! So hopefully you guys won’t have too much trouble On a different note, Lyanco actually looked the nuts the other night. He seemed a threat from set pieces as well, so he and broja have added some real firepower. We’ve been missing that for ages
Azziwhateverhisfuckingnameis saved well from Lyanco, Salisu and Smallbone, it bodes well for the future. If we could somehow manage to sign Brodja sicknote Ings won't be missed.
McCarthy, Livranento, Lyanco, Salisu, Walker-Peters, Diallo, Romeu, Armstrong, Djenepo, Redmond, Broja would be my team. Expecting Ward-Prowse to return and probably Bednarek and Elynoussi.
Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed Armando Broja will miss the trip to Watford because of an ankle injury.
Armstrong and Redmond then please. We need 2 high pressing forwards up top. Watford are vulnerable against it.
Unpopular opinion I know but I'm tempted by Armstrong and Long (whose aerial presence has always been decent despite his height).... ...but it will probably be Che and Adam to start. McCarthy Tino Lyanco Salisu KWP Romeu Diallo Stuey Redders Adarma Che
Yes but going long isn't our game anyway. Watford showed against Liverpool they do not like being pressed high up the pitch. That's the way to go IMO.
I've just got this feeling that this game is right up our street and we could win by 3 or 4. Now we'll lose. Sorry everyone.
Why not go all the way? Walcott, Adams, Long, Redmond with Valery at full back and McCarthy as captain. Not sure the General could handle the collective surge in blood pressure tbh.
