The lad in the front has cheap and heavily cut cocaine written all over him, but where was the older Budgie lads slapping the ****s down and telling them to behave themselves? If that steward had kicked off the lot of them would have run a mile.
Perhaps he was getting fed up with a certain individual (we can all guess who) from the Blue 20% of East Anglia that used to campaign and bombard the mods in order to get members banned that he didnt agree with ? This "individual" couldnt handle a big of leg pulling about his own precious club but liked to dish it out. I will probably be banned for these comments but we need honest, open and transparent about this. I am afraid that it is the real reason for the exodus of members from this forum.
Getting back on topic - I saw the highlights on MotD and our players need to take a 'leaf out of Watford's book' and harry opposition players on the ball. The miles that Deeney and Ighalo ran closing our players down was incredible.
That's the most frustrating thing, BH. We've all seen Alex Neil sides do exactly that, so why take feet off the gas just because it's Watford, who we beat comprehensively twice last year? Makes no sense. Complacency? Expecting them to roll over without being pressed? Naive in the extreme if so
First - I'm really sorry about the windows in the coach incident - completely out of character for WFC fans, if it was them but all clubs have a few loonies - we probably have less than most. Nevertheless, most unsavoury, not good for football, WFC or those affected. Second - AN said on TV that he didn't think there was much between the teams. Well, if he actually believed that then, sadly, NCFC are in serious trouble. For once, and at last WFC were the better team throughout - first 10 minutes excepted. Most of he pundits seem puzzled that we have integrated 15 new players, but in fact 6-7 of last seasons lot start most games. The key difference is our defence is so much better than last season and the team plays as a unit across the pitch. However, from what I've seem when NCFC play well they give anyone a game - so I think it's down to motivation, and there are at least 3 unhappier teams than NCFC. Good luck.
Thanks for your comments Bodbo. I think he's duty bound to try and muster a bit of flagging team morale after a dismal showing like that - any NCFC fans watching live or or TV know that's complete and utter bullscheisse.
While watching MotD and AN said what he said I immediately turned to my mate and said "There was nothing between us apart from the gaping chasm in quality and effort."
At last! A report that accepts we were abject (my words, not AN's) yesterday, rather than those I've seen saying 'there wasn't a great deal between the two sides', etc. Let's hope a few home truths come out when they all meet up on Monday, rather than just 'a bad day at the office'. Because too many more of those and we're doomed, doomed, I tell you! http://www.teamtalk.com/news/neil-norwich-display-at-watford-not-acceptable?
As I have remarked elsewhere I find it hard to believe that it was actual Watford fans who did this - Watford fans are not like that and haven't been for years. We've not had an incident of any away coaches being targetted for decades - which casts doubt on the "few loonies" theory. More likely a bunch of kids who had not been anywhere near the ground.
After Bourne Mouth yesterday, I could see it coming - holy fire, I even talked it up on twitter just now However, we're not yet in the bottom three ... by virtue of goal diff.
