I never watch highlights. Remember a few seasons ago (it now feels like twenty) when Newcastle beat Manchester United 0-1? I watched the game on the live stream and it was Newcastle all the way and were most certainly on top all of the game.

I decided to watch MotD that evening and the edited highlights from the Salford based nuBBC showed a complete different game. Each time Manchester United had the ball and looked slightly threatening it was shown and 99% of Newcastle's (or should I say United's?) game was ignored. They even made the Newcastle goal look as if it was against the run of play.

I have never bothered with edited highlights since.

I think that between the oh-so-predictable result from yesterday and the complete lack of transfer activity, it's pretty clear that Newcastle United are going to get relegated.

I cringed watching a recent interview with MacClaren as he was asked about transfer activity: "I haven't got a clue" he repeated two or three times.

Seriously, how can a club employ a former England Manager and then tell him he has NO SAY in transfers?

    It's beyond my comprehension.

Look Steve is a nice guy but his best days are a decade behind him. He needs to **** off because his alcohol ravaged face is making me ill to look at.

He's been found out and sacked from his last two jobs. Who would hire a manager that's done nowt for a decade and sacked twice? Let's get David Moyes in. Oh wait........ Bloody certainty, innit?

I know its the cup but i think we are as good as down in the league, if your going to miss chance after chance your going no where but doon!
You cant even blame the inept manager for this failure as the chances they are missing are basic simple chances.
You cant coach simple goal scoring its just what you do as a striker ffs.
btw not watched my beloved team play since i walked out the Leicester City game at 2..nil down
They have finally finished me off......****s.
