Watford Vs Middlesbrough

Watford welcome Tony Mowbray's Middlesbrough to Vicarage road today. Its the Hornets verses The Boro, its 12th against 11th.

Previous fixture
Last season the Hornets emerged narrow winners with a 2-1 victory on the final day of the season with goals from Deeney and Iwelumo for Watford and Emnes for Boro. In losing Boro were denied a play-off place. They will surely want revenge for this.

Watford come into this game on the back of a hard fought and spirited win away at Charlton. The Golden Boys had to play the 2nd half with 10 men after Forestieri was sent off, but manager Gianfranco Zola said he was impressed with the squad and their resilience;

I'm pleased and proud of my players because they never gave up. I couldn't ask for more as a manager. We had spirit, we stuck together, we defended our 1-1 score, then our 2-1 score with everything we had.

Boro were held to a home draw by Derby. The game see-sawed from the 19th minute when Boro went ahead but twice Derby managed to pull them back. Gaffer Tony Mowbray was disapointed with the late Derby equaliser which he felt was offside;

When you get yourself in front late on the expectation is that you'll take all three points. The frustration is that the goal was offside but we sit here at 2-2 and can't change it now because the officials got it wrong. It's frustrating when they do but you'd have to say on the balance of play that Derby deserved to take something from the game.

BHD's prediction
Based on recent form it would be a tight game, neither have a high scoring average and are in similar form for the start of the season. I have a feeling that it will be as tight as form suggests. I predict a one goal difference with the 'Orns winning 2-1. However, i have been known to be wrong.

Good luck to both teams. As the short man says "enjoy the game"

Cheers Dan !!

I think we'll draw this one 3.3 but will only be able to check the result late on Sunday as away from mid-day today and I like to leave my phone off and be without net to get away from it all.

COYHHHHHHHHH !!!

Nice one dan - 5*'s from me.

Will be a difficult game this one and I expect a watchful ref - I'm going for a 2-2 draw and our poor home form continues

The defence will have to make sure that the ref spots any tricks that Jutkewicz tries - not so much to have him sent off, but so that they aren't.

Alex Geigo just announced on twitter that he is in the squad for tomorrow. I hope he gets a run out. Not like when i was told Stephen Mcginn was in the squad but he only made the back up 2. :(

Didn't feel good about Hudd, won. Felt good about Charlton, won. Feel good about Boro...3-2

Afternoon BB, Hornet player up and running here. Did some investigation into your dropping out and it seems possible that it is something to do with bandwidth. If you have too many people on the same ISP in your area then this can happen. By switching to a different commentary it is likely that you re-buffer and can get through to that. Just something I read and it might not be correct as to what is happening to you.
