Cheers for your thoughts,,worse than the 80s,I was dreading someone saying that, those were dark days.
Just hope cellino starts to get rid of rubbish, and we can be rebuild.
It won't be quick or easy.

9 texts and 3 missed calls so far but work in London so it will be more like Chelski gloating.

Wonder what Massimo made of that, keep an eye on club news tomorrow I guess.

No pain whatsoever........however you may well be feeling some pain some time soon....

how will you feel if you beat Barnsley, Blackpool and Birmingham to help the Lions in their great escape......

any worse than you will feel if you lose to them and we climb above you in the table...???

not an easy choice for you is it ???

This is much worse than the 80's. At least then we had some flair players, played passing football, showed some fighting qualities, and we were always there or thereabouts at the end of the season. Never came close to relegation, even reached an FA Cup semi final. At least we used to look forward to the next game, unlike now when it's all so depressing.
They weren't the best of times for Leeds by any stretch of the imagination, but we went from being one of the best club sides in Europe to 2nd division mediocrity within the space of seven years, so that just made the feeling of despondency ten times worse.
Nowadays I'm afraid to say we're more accepting of being total garbage (or just that we've got used to it)

I enjoyed those days Este, I was young and naive and thought those teams at least tried, but I was probably pissed then as well, so the matches looked better than they were. A punch up, a pie, hot bovril and a pint afterwards...great times, no internet, no mobile phones, no 606 forums.....:emoticon-0105-wink:
