Interestingly on Andy Carroll: I think his card is marked....... this trailing arm/elbow issue is going to get him... as you cant get away with injuring others on this way...
Too right - the guy is a thug and an idiot. It was just a few weeks back he got a yellow card for an elbow, and within minutes, he did it again to get sent off.
he used to be a better player ..... need to be better coached or his career will languish in the lower leagues very soon
I am shocked. Martin Samuels must have had a senior moment there, forgetting it was WFC that Carroll was trying to put into A & E next door.Had he remembered it would have been a rant on how overseas (c*l**r*d) players aren't up for a battle in the ENGLISH Premier league. What was completely daft however was that Carroll was booked for a completely innocuous push on Richarlison and no freekick was awarded for his forearm smash on Zegeelaar. One replay wouold have had Carroll off immediately. Following last nights disgrace at the Amex, where a competely blatant penalty was missed by the ref we need MUCH MUCH MORE TV 4th official scrutiny to stop theses howlers from ruining the game.
I am surprised there's been no talk of retrospective against Carroll seeming it's obvious the ref never saw it... Maybe if it was a bigger club Sky and everyone else would be all over it.
He another great hope for the future who has rather lost his way and underachieved. Either injured or banned. To think the bloke once cost £35 million for Liverpool!
He likes a drink a bit too much for that...Probably was ok when he was young but it's catching up with him now...
And that triple save may well go down in folklore - along with Almunia's double penalty save against Leicester. I think it deserves a 'I was there when....' t-shirt. Maybe someone could suggest it to the club?
Having now watched MOTD2 I agree, his first thought is to use his hands and arms to disable his opponent. Moyes and the refs need to take him in hand fast.
Seems to be one of those challenges from back in the day where a striker wants to put one on the defender to unsettle him... maybe targeting the debutant
