    Excellent win and generally very good performance.

    Broke with pace and some great passing - Hughes and Doucourae outstanding.

    Gomes did wonders when called upon.

    Before the game I was asked whether or not it affects players when their manager is linked with another club. My answer was, 'of course it does'.

    But we have not seen that from Watford today.

    I have been very impressed with the way they have approached the game.

    He's a bit of a plonker is Garthie - stating that Silva should go to Everton and that we replace him with Pardew. If Pardew 'still has a lot to offer', why can't he go to Everton? :(

    What a cheek Crooks has (my italics)

    Watford are enjoying their best start to a Premier League season under Marco Silva and that has created tremendous interest in the manager's ability to take ordinary teams and make them considerably better.
