Good performance generally although had to hold on at the end naturally .

Definitely did look better attack with Vata and Georgi very effective .

Morris did improve after the break and thought Louza was decent.

    Well played to Bayo too.

We certainly play better against clubs that try to win. Georgi is a phenomenon. Best player in the division IMHO. But, we will always give teams a chance. Our defence is about mid table at best. I'm not trying to be -ve, it just seem that way. But for entertainment allied to decent results, we are in a good place. I was surprised to see Vata start , but he certainly was worth his place. Our midfield is probably the strongest ( as a squad) in the division.

I agree re Georgi who looked a class above every other player. I Just hope we can keep him for the season. Vata looked great.. skilful, quick and a great passer...
Hackney and I struggled to name a poor player ...really a great team effort..
Baah a bit out of position when we had to defend ..Bayo a bit loose in possession at times..BUT he scored 2. Bachmann gave the ball away in his box But made some good saves

Overall a very satisfying afternoon..and i will be home by 10pm!

Morris had a poor 1st half. Once he realised Fellows could rum past him, he shouldhavem odified hi positioning to prevent the crosses. I really like him as aplayer, but he did get exposed today. Vata improved his trackoing back which helped. That said, a very watchable game, against good opposition. Perhaps our position in the division is a true reflection. I had my doubts as the wins against Black cats. Boro & Rovers looked a bit fortunate.

One does have to wonder. Last time I "felt" like that was, ironically against Ainsworth's QPR a few seasons ago after a particularly awful 1-0 defeat at Loftus Road: an object lesson in weak refereeing and oppo ****housery... not to mention our own shortcomings on the day.
Personal experience has shown Albion fans to be somewhat less than magnanimous when they do win, and especially sour when they don't. Yeah, whatever!

When did we sell Bachman to WBA

    BBCSport
Watford pushed for a third as Chakvetadze's piercing run and shot deflected tamely into Bachmann's gloves and Kwadwo Baah was denied by Torbjorn Heggem's block.

I maybe a bit biased BUT especially in the second the ref appeared to do everything apart from award a penalty when no Albion players were in our 18 yd area to help them back in the game

They obviously did not notice when their thugs hacked down Baah and Georgi every time they had the ball, only when they could catch obviously and the pull back on Georgi when he almost burst through on his own would have been debated as a potential red in the Prem

Despite being pulled back as well.
The second goal might have been a foul but then their goal was pretty jammy with the deflection to their guy tbh and we were well on top at the time.

They had players booked for cyclical fouls.

First reaction is that I never thought we'd be on 34 points before Xmas. I had this down as a really hard season.

Sure, we aren't great, might make the play offs, so credit to TC for that.

Seems like a hard-fought win, but you can never really tell from the highlights.

    However, these are my thoughts:

    1. Did a clown dress Cleverley?

    2. Bayo's 2nd was a foul by Pollock.

    3. DB's save when it was going well wide was strange.

It did look odd, but I suspect that he had just temporarily lost his bearings and had to make the effort. Had he not, and the shot was on target, the fans would have crucified him.

1 . Even in his interview said he wasn’t sure what to wear !

    2. Probably but then Baah was fouled a bit before their goal too .

    3. Was that in the first half ? Think as BB says was a natural reaction tbh .

Unlucky for the one that went in.

The knee slide for Bayo's second was something else too! Forgot to mention that!
