Watford v Tottenham

The new year brings new challenges and Watford sure have that in their first game of 2017. Facing 4th placed Tottenham is no easy task, especially with WM´s long injury list. Spurs, however, have Kyle Walker and Jan Vertonghen missing due to suspension.

The table will reach its half way point after this game with the January transfer window to open soon.

The 12th man has been called upon by the gaffer “Now we need the fans more than ever, especially to support the players who haven’t had as many minutes in the Premier League so far,” Mazzarri said.

Comments welcome.

From Mazarri's press conference today, we really are shorthanded for this match.

Will be interesting to see the formation he goes for with the fit players left.

Due to the injuries to so many players, the headline reads:
"We need the fans more than ever" - Mazzarri

I don't know if my boots will still fit.

Thanks for the thread Mex. <ok>

Think we are ok at the back thanks Mark :)

If we play 3 at the back then the only decision he would make was between Watson & Dacoure (?). If we play only 1 up top then he may play both.
Otherwise the team picks itself.
Unless he is playing games as he did last week with player availability....

Watson is on the unavailable list too apparently, so it won't be much of a decision.

¿What´s the deal with Watson?

Understandably
he has a family issue, but this has gone on a while and we are crying out for him.

Hope the issue is sound like, but in times like these troops are hard to find.

Man flu has struck so we are giving our season tickets to our grandsons, they are very excited. Pity they are ardent Spurs supporters, hopefully they can keep quite when their team scores a number of times.

Yes - otherwise you will get into trouble sadly if they are caught out and the club investigate...

They managed to keep quiet last year. The club know that thousands of season tickets are passed on to friends or family on different occasions. I would think they would be mature about it.
