Everyone seems to have forgotten the first half when Shaquiri took out Holebas with a tackle that would have got a rugby player sin binned, Shaquiri rolled around in agony to avoid a booking, Britos put the ball out so both player could receive treatment, did Stoke return the ball, no, Shaquiri tried to set up a Stoke attack instead, did Watford react like Jo Allen, no, we just won the ball back and got on with the game Deeney's reaction was a mixture of frustration and anger at the way the referee had allowed Stoke to cheat and time waste their way to victory As for the incident itself, Jo Allen could/should have been sent off for kicking then throwing himself at Deeney to start the confrontation, Shawcross should get a red card for head butting Deeney, The only reason Deeney is in trouble is because of Mark Hughes comment on TV after the game, not content with winning a football game with rugby league players and tactics and cheating and time wasting, he wanted to punish Watford as well to detract from his teams antics Marco Silva kept a dignified silence on Stoke tactics I know which team and manager I support, and which one I would not even watch on MOTD highlights/lowlights
Both teams charged with failing to control their players.. In fact Mark Hughes and his coaches seemed pretty keen to get involved themselves!

Joe Allen started the 2nd incident .. The first also involved their full back kicking the ball away at a throw in.
Just been watching Stoke v Leicester . Makes it even more frustrating we were so poor. Leicester have really shown the Stoke defence up for pace and quick play. Shows the value of getting a lead against them. Stoke look 10 x better as well tbf!
Stoke at home is a different game. I had little expectation last week and it was a worst case scenario. I expect to beat them well at their place. I have good friends in that area, I might just take a couple of days off for the return fixture, circumstances permitting.
