I think you come across as really patronising...I don't know if you are doing it on purpose or not but it don't come across as anything other than a poor wum attempt tbh. In the first half of the season Watford have only been outshone by Leicester imo. Both clubs were among the favourite to be relegated and as far as I can see neither have anything to be concerned about. As a spurs fan I think we have much bigger worries as we absolutely must get top 4 this season or we will lose a massive amount of money from CL football (which will be needed cos of the new ground) and cos we would face the risk of losing Lloris, Eriksen and Kane to a CL club. Watford are exceeding expectations and only the most pessimistic fan would be worried right now.
remembercolinlee,NOT a good wum, bad wum or poor wum, in fact NOT a wum attempt at all. I'm posting things as I saw them merely for the three matches mentioned above. A good first half of the season all well and good but it's good form at the end of the season which matters. I see nothing patronising in my posts or attitude. I noticed form wasn't there against Chelsea and mentioned it. For God's sake will you all read my posts properly.
I will repeat.Watford needed a penalty and a deflection to gain a point against struggling Chelsea, NOT good form goals but somewhat lucky goals. I thought that if form wasn't there against Chelsea then it could be the start of a trend and what would Watford do against form teams. Spurs and Man City were approaching and I said that if Watford lose two home matches on the trot then their season could fizzle out and If I were a Watford supporter I'd be a little concerned. Now, there's the VILLAINOUS content of the subject which has caused so much anger, resentment and sarcasm. Everybody outside of Leicester expects them to fade but nobody seems angry at the mention of that. OK colin, you think Watford fans have nothing to be concerned about, I think they do, we differ so that makes me patronising does it? Also if Leicester start to fade from now on in and win nothing what does that say for a good start to the season, it says nothing because the best football has been played at the wrong time.
You do not consider yourself a WUM as you define wumming in your own way. However if you look at the effect of every post you make you have to concede you are winding people up - that is called wumming. It's no good protesting your innocence by saying you are commenting on facts etc etc - you are either very naive or just a poor wum. We know you for what you are and so do you in your mirror. You admit to going on the Liverpool board to tell them what you think about Klopp. Have you yet opined on the future of Van Gaal to MU supporters. Someone who visits other team's boards to regretfully sympathise with them cuts no ice. You are a (poor quality) WUM so enjoy it. I have no interest in talking about Watford or Spurs with someone like you.
The best football can never be played at the wrong time because all that matters in the end is points on the board - whenever they are gained. Why should you be so concerned about how we got our goals against Chelsea ? They all count - and penalties, deflections (and even own goals) have to be earned by placing defences under pressure. We are just above mid table (a position which we would have bitten your hand off for at the start of the season) despite starting the season with a team of strangers who will only get better as the season goes on. No team is outplaying us and we know the necessary points will come - there is no pressure on us, as there is with yourselves. You really are fixated about us - we are not worried so why should you be ?
He clearly feels we should (or we expected to) have gone to Chelsea and won easily...I guess other teams have this season but with a new manager they probably won't be in a relegation battle for long. And then get something against Spurs and Man City (heck even Aston Villa drew with them!) It could be argued we had good fortune against Sunderland with Defoe missing a few chances and Villa scoring an OG for us so is that "good form"? We will worry more if we fail to get anything against Swansea/Southampton and Newcastle. Watford fans aren't know for ripping up season tickets and demanding action on the basis of a couple of defeats...
i agree to a point here... but sometimes teams do cancel each other out and Chelsea looked nothing special against us for much of the game and the draw was fair. The bit i do agree with is how we can continue our good form through the season with an in experienced group of squad players........will we fall away when tiredness sets in and our squad players dont fill the gaps.?? HOWEVER .... as long as we finish out of the bottom three .... the vast majority of Watford supporters will be pleased end of season.......
cologne, I'm NOT fixated with you at all. I made an observation, a SERIOUS observation which was met with a load of sarcasm. I just felt the draw against Chelsea might start a trend and it has. Just an observation and nothing more. Also placing defences under pressure is nothing, it's what's expected. Your goal yesterday was an own goal, just be cautious is all I'm saying. NO, I did not expect you to get anything from Spurs and City, I said lose two at home and your season COULD fizzle out. That was met with hostility, FFS why.
I do not go onto others teams boards making negative comments about their teams - if I did I would expect some reaction. Tell me, do you also go onto the Chelsea board reminding them that they are relegation candidates ? The next time that Spurs lose a couple on the trot then I will come onto your board full of concern that your season is fizzling out - how will it come over ?
Leonardo, why answer at all then? I have been onto the Man U board saying that I think they'll do a Chelsea. I said that the win against Swansea wasn't convincing and it should be looked at in no deeper light than 3 points, I think that their goal scoring troubles will continue. I said a couple of weeks ago that I thought a win might set them rolling again and had they beaten struggling Swansea by 3-0 or 4-0 then they are back but 2-1 doesn't fill me with much confidence for them. I will repeat, NONE of this is wumming, it is NOT in my nature to do that. if you see it as humming Leonardo I am sorry.
As honest cologne, as honest. I welcome the input of others, positive or negative. I predicted on the old BBC 606 a relegation battle for Chelsea soon, JM spoilt the party for a short while. I used to live in Bushey Heath and then later Brickett Wood. I was in Brickett Wood when Watford met Everton in the FA CUP so Watford was a local team.
Spurs only beat ten-man Watford with an off-side goal, maybe you should tell them that on your board Mr. Wum Almighty!
I have done and mention luck all the time. canary, I am NOT a wum please stop looking at it like that. But if you don't believe me well c'est la vie.
Maybe, but shouldn't City have taken notice from Watson nearly scoring directly from the same corner of the pitch on Monday? That shows a lack of organisation on their part that we took advantage of - doesn't matter who got the final touch. It also dismisses the quality of the ball in from Watson. You also seem to have forgotten that despite their struggles in the PL, Chelsea are in the knockout stages of the CL.
I welcome your alternative view, quite fair. I'm afraid some on our board are a bit delicate. Mind you they call me a WUM.!!
Best not feed the Troll - just not worth it. It's not even very good at it - should probably try and get a life instead of wasting it on here and other clubs MB's
