Asprilla was cut in half by their defender 3 times before he was even booked, second half they brought on that pice of scum Frazer, and to make it worse he was involved in their goal, what a nasty cheating scumbag of a club Martin has turned Southampton into and as for the ref, well, he booked Kone for delaying a free kick which should've been in his favour and a couple of minutes later a Southampton player kicks the ball away and of course not even a word Half time we should have been at least a goal up and they should have been hanging on for dear life for a narrow defeat
I really don't get the way that some people think. Elsewhere, one poster is calling for Ken Sema to be dropped, as he is totally useless. Apart from the fact that he can slip back into the full back role, he has been one of the players able to get to the goal line and put a cross into the penalty area. His work rate cannot be questioned, and he seems to have a good understanding with Lewis. Not everything he tries comes off, but you can say the same about all the players, so to pick him out baffles me.
OFH The poster in question seems to have a habit of forming a vendetta against various players and not only that, but I would hazard a guess, he has a limited knowledge of football. His tirades are generally ill-informed so it is probably best to simply assign his comments to the f-wit bin
From Healey's interview it's clear he has kept his long throw ability secret from the club because he wants to be thought of as a striker. That said, this skill may well get him more game time from now on.
The sort of fan who will probably be praising Sema next time he scores or assist a goal . Lots of fickle fans about praising VI and the club for sticking with him when they wanted him out not so long ago . Mind you we aren’t the only club with fans like that .
I know, it's strange isn't it? Maybe he asked Bayo not to say anything or Bayo thought it would affect his game time so didn't tell. I don't know, and also if Healey had used it much in France it would have been reported and on his utube clips which it wasn't so maybe he's kept it well under wraps. Either way the cat's out of the bag now!
However it makes you wonder how thorough the research is on a potential aquisition if this long throw was not unearthed in finding out all about a player before signing him. What other information about all other aspects of a signing would be likely to be missed? Good and BAD.
Leigh Bromby had a decent long throw too. He used it to good effect early on in his debut against Wolves, when he set up Steve 'waste of half a million' Kabba for his first and only goal for us. We really have signed some duff strikers over the years...
