During the game half of their team came in for some truly vitriolic abuse. By sixty minutes they had given up all hope for the season with this bunch who would not get in a pub team.

Yes saw that. Guess they didn’t have many shots and basically defended by kicking the ball out ! Must admit thought Billy Sharp would be more of a threat if he started tbh with his experience etc . They did bring on a striker who cost 23 million pounds themselves too. The result always adds to the feeling though - they would have taken a draw whilst we’d be disappointed. Does seem like fans feel they haven’t done enough to improve their squad from their pint of view but it is only one game .
No, there was a medical emergency, the people trying to get on the pitch, including a Hornet, were trying to stop play to try and attract attention of medical staff. Watford fans in lower part of SEJ were assisting the Blades’ fans to stop the game. Fan solidarity at its best. The people who tried to enter the pitch were initially throw out, but aftera while sense was seen, and they were allowed back in.
They seemed to be blaming the ref for getting in the way of the ball but still was an excellent counter attack from us .
