Ironically, I think Mersin actually spoke the most sense there: saying we have to win today, as a draw isn’t good enough with games running out, and also saying that the manager should be more honest. Just tell the fans that we have been awful, because they know, and dont try to tell them things are great when they aren’t.
Funny though, because through all our recent years I’ve listened to and read our fans moaning about playing possession football.

FLT - agree, even if not on the counter however; we were very crisp with our passing game; used to enjoy the manner in which played and it frightened teams into being a little conservative with us because they feared us.
Sky think the referee blew by mistake assuming it was off when the lino didn’t flag into he referee blew his whistle.
Marginally better than Brighton winning though, in my opinion. Especially with us hosting Brighton very shortly. Of course a draw is the ideal there.
Pretty much. The ref was nowhere near, the lino was in line, so obviously the ref’s decision was final.
