Rarely for me, I thought Kayembe was very good too - can't remember seeing any of his usual misplaced passes, skied clearances going backwards or the ball getting tangled up with his feet - and he was effective in breaking up attacks as well.

Sounds like it was a whole different ball game to Saturday! Perhaps he read my withering comparison of him to Ray Wilkins? He certainly went forward more in the short highlights I have seen of yesterday.

Referee was very random in this game he seemed to give us some free kicks and then Reading some free kicks as if he was trying to please both sets of supporters, half the free kicks he gave us resulted in yellow cards and he should have given us at least one more penalty

Pedro is showing how good he can be in this division and Sema looked ok as a full back just shows how weak we are at right back, still need a dominant centre back, Sarr has got one eye on the World Cup but still caused problems, Davis should have been replaced by Bayo after 60 to 70 minutes as he appeared to run out of legs, Asprilla needs to calm down a bit his enthusiasm can take over from his natural ability

Overall we are looking better than we did under Edwards but Bilic needs a full fit squad to show our full potential

We are at the same number of games and position we were in when Ivic was replaced by Munoz so lets hope Bilic can do what Munoz did two years ago

I think Davis was carrying an injury tbh. Suspect a groin strain, throughout the match he rarely put in an explosive run. I saw him stretching early on and he never ran full on when defending/closing down. Only short bursts. Considering, he did ok.

Asprilla is probably trying too hard. I think he's been used a lot more than originally intended at this stage. I still think Asprilla is going to be the better player but fair dinks to JP10 who's stepping up after a difficult run.

I guess at 18 he will have inconsistent games or maybe ones where he physically gets dominated.

I was pleased at how we restricted Reading to basically nothing despite having midfielders at full back and an unpredictable central defensive paring.

Probably could've got more but it was pretty comfortable overall.

Davis is probably lacking a bit of fitness I agree and Sarr looked like he was saving himself a bit.

Kalu did well after coming on and of course there is Pedro.
