Unfortunate not to win really but then Plymouth actually had some good chances too .

There were some very encouraging performances from the young players .

Martins a bit unlucky to go off ?

Bayo just couldn’t get his feet sorted out.

Only 5 minutes of injury time overall !

I watched Bayo with interest. He put in a hell of a shift, chasing down everything. It was a shame for him that when he had a one on one with the keeper, he couldn't score. Maybe the old striker problem of too much time to think.

Yes - he sometimes was slow to react too at times .

At least we don't look terrible. I thought we would, Maybe this season could be interesting. BUt, we need a CF. A 9, A cheap shearer.

Good performance overall

Asprilla showed great promise and skill when he came on, he should have replaced Sema not Martens, I still believe he has the potential to replace Pedro and Sarr as one player, needs game time and a bit of patience

The Georgian looked good when he came on

Not far off having the right starting lineup

I thought Asprilla excellent too and he has bulked up a bit over the summer.

Our manager agrees with us

On Yáser Asprilla:

I thought Yáser had a really good game when he came on. During the week he gave us a good feeling that he’s recovered from the Under-20 World Cup - he came back later than most of the other players and now he’s in great shape. It was important for him to show up today and show he’s on the same level as the other players, and I thought he had a big impact.

Many positives from yesterday. I think my only concerns would be, we are to open to the counter attack and Bachman playing "sweeper keeper" is just not a good proposition.
Another clean sheet being one of those positives - the only team in the Championship yet to concede a League goal.
Have to admit that Bachman in the sweeper keeper role had its scary moments - he has a tendency to dwell too long on the ball, with misplaced faith in his dribbling ability, for my liking. But if he is new to the idea, perhaps he will improve with more exposure to it. I hope so as I don't think Hamer would fare any better.
