Fairly even game that could have gone either way for me. Time for Núñez and Sara to switch over their starting roles I think. Hopefully Omobamidele isn’t injured, he looked a bit shocked that he had been subbed off. I thought Byram played really well at RB in the second half barring a couple of times where he should have swung a cross in. Aarons did well on the left as well. Sarge took his chance well and used the ball well when he was given it to his feet. Gunn justified the decision to pick him over Krul for me, not just with the penalty save but a number of other saves. He had no chance with the 2 goals. Sarr is a very good player at this level and caused all sorts of problems especially in the first half.
I'm tempted but quitting would surely **** the karma of the season . If I get another go this season & lose then I'm sacking myself 2023-24
Good to see Hayden at last. Hopefully he kicks on. Can't help but feel our carelessness at the back has come from yet again not strengthening our defence. Hanley has been a rock in some games but has always been prone to a lapse in concentration. Aarons can't defend and O'dele is very young and inexperienced. O'dele is class, don't get me wrong, but he can't do it all alone!
