Well I enjoyed the last 60 minutes when we turned up and put in a good comeback performance. Not quite sure what happened in the first 30 minutes though.
First 30 minutes Norwich were all over us. Where did they go?! They were pressing and giving us no space at all. Then they just stopped for the most part and let us back in the game. A well deserved win in the end and fun to watch the last hour
Attendance 16,714 - I suspect more than a few may have been counted twice. A bit of sublime skill from Asprilla for his goal, but aside from that he didn't have a particularly good game - not complaining though. I thought Livermore was immense -well, for the final 80 minutes - I hope he stays fit...
Hopefully VI will work out how to get rid of the 'Leicester Hangover' though - the first 15/20 minutes last night were excruciatingly dire.
I think they did in the end . Mind you do need to make sure we start well or certainly defend better in future games .
According to some stats, Norwich have scored a lot of their goals from set pieces. When you get a 6'.0" plus player being marked, as happened last night, by someone much smaller, you do have to wonder why.
Thoughts from last night: 1 attack, attack, attack 2 practise defending corners 3 practise crossing the ball quicker and getting into the centre of the box over the body of the first player
Who marks who at such set pieces should probably be an on-field decision for the captain to make. About all VI could have done was select taller players at the back - eg Sierralta as CD & move Porteous to RB. That would have cancelled out the height disparity but would have been a little unfair on Andrews.
