Anyone else bothered that we're only getting goals from two players? I wish we could get some from midfield as well. It's fine for now, but an injury to TD or Iggy could hurt us.
I was surprised to see Jurado in the starting line up, but seemingly Abdi and Guédioura had not been able to train until Thursday. I along with others have not seen much from him in the past, but today there were signs of just why QSF has such faith in him. A much better display from him, yet to be fair he was given much more time on the ball by the Norwich mid-field than he usually gets.
Bassong said he would tell his team mates how to stop Troy & Iggy playing. From what i saw second half his method was to foul Iggy persitently lucky he did not give away a second penalty on more than one occassion.
Not really, whilst they are in their positions in the formation it would be a mess if others were there, have to believe that Oulare etc. will score if the shape/setup demands.
Sorry Dave - think our extra quality told. Conditions were tough but we dealt with that better and should have won by more. The young goalie for Norwich was excellent denying Ighalo 3/4 times. Cool pen from Deeney. Brady looked very good for you and I was pleased Redmond came off. You brought 2 big lads up front which kind of played into our hands I think.
Been out but heard the result and was jumping about in the car. 6 from the last 6 is great - would have been happy with 4. Another great result! Can just play a bit in the tough games coming up.
