Don't care how we win tomorrow Dave by fair means or foul it's all the same to me. We MUST stay up this term because of the ludicrous TV money that kicks in next year and I don't care how we do it !
I can understand this. The money on offer from next year will make the relegation battle an even bigger dogfight than usual. Teams have to avoid relegation. How owners will react to their team being near the bottom will be interesting. Of course, it is only critical for the clubs. A good player knows that he will be able to go to another club. At least there will only be two places to worry about if Villa continue with their current form. For us it is good that we are still seen as the team to beat. It will reduce the chances of complacency. Certainly at this stage of the season, I doubt if many teams will consider a draw with us is a good result - before they play us, not after the game. I'm afraid that I can't see us winning this match though. Norwich know us too well.
Sorry Rich, I always want to win by fair means! This season we've had so many points lost by inefficient refereeing so we know how it feels, I would never want to inflict that on our opponents! (Except Villa)
Not sure that is true - how many of our players faced Norwich last year - and we have a different manager. Refs are different in the Premier league too - as Bournemouth are finding out
The wind could have a part to play in this one. Barring any comedy goals, I think this will be a tight one but we'll just come out the better side. I'm going for a close 2-1 win as I think there's a possibility if we do win today, it could be our last 3 points for a while so we need it. COYH!
Watching Stoke and Citeh on the TV right now and the wind is playing havoc with ball passing. And I have just made myself snigger by using 'passing' and 'wind' in the same sentence.
