i had a beer once we pulled it back then had to start anther at 3-1 now my son in law needs to go to a small beer house . they cannot sell beer just 6 tickets and each ticket gets you almost a pint so heave day and wfc win 3-1 happy days
 
Have had a few problems with this site after kick off. The good news though, is that the link was good. Great to watch a game, even if I missed the 2nd goal from us.

Nonesense, you look at the results for 1900-1901 and all the attendances were an exact ,000 - except for those that were an exact ,500.

You must have been to at least a couple of those games......:emoticon-0105-wink:
 
Do people think we can go up automatically then?

15 games in, we've had a lot of turmoil but the points are on the board!

With the squad that we have the winter period should not be too much to cope with - after all, folks thought Deeney was indispensable, but we have continued to grind out the results (and get the goals) without him (or without him being at peak fitness). At the moment, goals are coming from everywhere and anywhere.

Surprise, surprise - just trawled the records out of interest and found that I've been to four such games, two ,500 ones and two ,000 - all away from home. Not sure how I could have forgotten the 84 Cup Final :(

That should be a challenge for someone - name the other three. <laugh> Two in the 60s and the other in the 80s...
 
Shame that he cannot conduct himself with the same dignity his fans did in the pre-match remembrance. Quite often they are shameful, but today they were very good unless I missed something. Credit where it is due.

There's a rumour on Twitter that his players were less than well behaved too at half time - claims of damage to the door of the visitor's dressing room.
 
The attendance of 17,000 was our biggest crowd for a home league match since Newcastle (27/02/2010).

Quite agree. There were times in this game where the defence was one slip away from disaster. And the depth of squad is being severely tested, especially in defence with both Pudil and Bassong going off injured.

However quality told in the end. The goal right on half time changed things and I don't credit Hollowhead with the ability to change his team talk accordingly. Millwall may well complain about some of the decisions, but they could easily have been reduced to ten men. They were a bit physical and we did struggle a bit in the first half, but upwards on onwards. Oh, and did mention...Hollowhead is a tosser <cheers>
