Welcome back to Championship football. The let us play around in our own third of the field has changed to a healthy bit of get it away somewhere, anywhere. I don't think that this will be our team for the season somehow, but good to see lots of effort.

Very much a second choice eleven. I think we have to be happy with that. Okay so we were on the back foot for a lot of the game but it was by no means backs to the wall stuff... like a decent number 7 and 8 bat seeing off the shine of the new ball, bound to be a couple of hairy moments but pretty solid all in all. If only we didn't keep giving the ball away so damned cheaply in the midfield.
Good start but not enough controlled possession in the second half Pedro looks promising but needs a Deeney up front with him Defence looked good but Willmot looked a bit lightweight compared Cathcart and Kabasele
What's not to like? Loads of players out.& Short pre-season.& New coach (again) trying to get to grips with a new league but Youth given a chance & We score off a corner & Keep a clean sheet.& Warcock looks glum & WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!! I know, only a start but, I'll happily take it!
