I think I posted our record v the bottom have as 0.6 goals against and 2.8 for.

This one was never one to doubt. If we had not thrown 3 in v brentford (which klopp needs to look at and take out matip next game theres a big man in) its be no goals at all conceded.

 

Firmino has had 7 shots so far this season - and scored 6 goals.

 

In fairness even sterling could have scored 2 of those goals.

Now the last one I'd back him to miss but it seems to me that we and firmino are benefitting from that higher line as we seem to be getting kn behind sides and he is able to get in that zone of most danger.

 

Even Mo isn't sure about that. City goal was a right foot finish

I’m not one for blowing my own trumpet but didn’t I say it would be a walk in the park and that we would hardly break sweat? Despite Ranieri winning the premiership five years ago with Leicester his days of top management have disappeared a long time ago. We are just too strong for a poor team like Watford.

I said we were favourites for the title. We are IMO the best team in the premiership and more and more people are catching up with this view. By Christmas the bookies will have us a favourites or joint favourites at least.

 

Level the trumpet blowing to me mate. It was always a game we should win comfortably.

Need to do better v top half though

 

Btw I think Sarah's goal v City was better.

The three defenders let salah put his foot on the ball yesterday and roll it sideways. His flick thing v chelsea was unreal. So quick you can even see it

Frankly he also had time pick his sport yesterday and keeper didnt even try stop it. Hads a clue which is poor.

Salah had to get it past ederson with pace.

1st and 2nd in the goal of the season with keita 3rd.

I'd take that.

Pity ronaldo will get a tap in to win that and will be given all the poty trophies as he has 111 mil insta fans

I think salah will need to get 40 goals and win at least the big two pots to get a sniff of an award.

 

We haven’t done too badly against City and Chelsea. We have picked up from where we left just before VVD got injured and we are looking unbeatable.

 

Those were home games that both should have been wins. In fat we should have a 100% record right now if not for some absolutely poor decisions by our own players.

City could have hammered us but we got the lead twice second half and blew it twice.



Chelsea sat in with 10 and we could he there still and not scored.

Brentford was a complete cluster **** of defending. Subs were wrong.

That's the standard. We are doing fine but in a tight league having our home games v the top 2 rivals gone without damaging them is an issue

 

Everyone knows that a draw against immediate rivals is a high probability - even at home. Of course we'd like to win, but a draw isn't a disaster. It's ok to stay level with rivals - it's what we do against the others that counts. The Brentford result was a disappointment, but they've shown themselves to be no pushovers.
Chelsea lost at home to City. City were beaten by Spurs and could only draw at home with Saints.
Trying to evaluate a season on the basis of a handful of results - regardless of who they're against - is too simplistic. Anything can happen yet.
