No, It's perfect in Herts, football today, beer and music festival tomorrow in Ley Hill near Chesham. I've got six sunshine holidays booked between now and next Feb, Spain, Greece Canaries and first time to Madeira. All carefully booked around the fixture list!!

I'm just sorry we have not had time to visit France this year.

That was a bit worrying. But I remember times in the last 50+ years at the Vic and praying despite being a 110% atheist <laugh>

I do however feel Gracia deserves great credit for this start as others have said. It is a team result. And with the big guns we have coming back it is hard not to be optimistic. But if any one mentions a midlands team up the M1 I will kill them

Enjoyed your company folks, from all around the globe, and comments from those at the Vic <cheers>

I forgive Gracia his cultural upbringing. If it makes him feel better then he can do a couple of hail marys and our father's for the rest of us if he likes <laugh><laugh><laugh>

  7. Nope - cobblers to him. He dragged up something from two years ago to seek a point scoring advantage. He can go suck a zube as far as I'm concerned as can anyone throwing totally unwarranted brickbats at our club

Apparently Johann Cruyff got pissed off with this when he was a manager in Spain. Every player crossed himself going onto the pitch - the opponents as well, so he calculated that if God took any notice every game there would be a draw <laugh>

  14. Sorry Mex. Suck a zube was an insult we used as kids as it was more polite than what we really wanted to say. A zube was a cough sweet. Brick bat is basically an insult or criticism.

Got the first from context but wasn't sure on the real historical tie, the second I had as much idea as Woy had with his comments. 0

Sounds like business consultant. Ask the staff what they want, then write a report to include their desires.
