Thank you OFH...and everyone for contributions. I am with Andy, completely in Tatters as far as nerves go, the wife doesn't understand and neither really do my two boys they just think it is cool to be going to Wembley, my oldest has been twice in three years with Watford, so he cannot possibly understand what a big deal it is. I hope we go out there and give it a good go....if we perform as we can and all things are equal on the decision side of things I believe we can do it, BUT there are a lot of ifs and ands in there! We have the added joy of coming up from Sussex, so will inevitably be surrounded by loads of Palarse fans as we get into East Croydon. My last (playing myself interfereD with the othe SF's) FA Cup semi was all those years back in 84, I hope we can do the same this time, though I really doubt we will score a winner from a towering header this time. Nerves are jangling, but I am holding it together. Can we do it, I hope so, I believe we can. You 'Ornnnnnnnnnnns!!!! On last thing to all you yellows out there, I hope that today we can collectively enjoy a great day wherever we are and come away with the result we all want....enjoy it, nerves aside what an amazing time we are experiencing as Watford fans.
Not the skills of all-rounder Jacques Kallis Nor the music of old Thomas Tallis Could ever compare With Wembley where The Hornets will conquer the Palace
http://firstsrowsports.eu/soccer/first-crytal-palace-x-watford-row695709 not looking good score wise...
Marathon done. Is there anything else happening today? Thanks to the Watford cheering squad in Rotherhithe!
Watford have offered nothing this half. Deeney and Ighalo haven't even had scraps chucked their way. Credit to the Palace defence for that but the Hornets have to offer something else in the second half. BBC says it all, getting raped, slowly.
http://livestream-s.info/video/419757.html Really look disjointed. Need to change things around at half time.
Very poor, if you can't get yourself up for a cup SF - words fail me. Something drastically wrong at the club. Flores must take a lot of the blame - too defensive too often. Big changes ahead otherwise second season syndrome in spades.
I really don't know quite to make of that. For some reason we seemed to lack real passion, something I find difficult to take. Seemed that when the two team lists came up we were set up to defend, whereas Palace had attacking intent. I suspect that QSF was out thought by Pardew, which could actually be a difference in the two men's background. It was only when we put hopeful long punts into their area we looked to cause them problems, but our build up play was just so slow they had chance to re-group. I would also question should our keeper have done better. I doubt that he will keep Gomes out of the 1st team.
