Could have been here all night and not scored.

No cutting edge or pace really.

    Subs did nothing.

Fair play to Coventry - very tight defensive unit and dangerous on the counter.

The most pleasing aspect of this afternoon was Helen Ward as pundit on the Hive - certainly knows her stuff and speaks well.

I wouldn't say that - Asprilla set up Sarr for the worst miss I've seen in a very long time, and Hungbo forced a decent save out of their keeper. Both showed a bit of urgency that had been missing too.

True - they were good moments but not enough .

Agree on the Sarr miss - how ?!

Couldn’t see from where we were, only got one chance to see it ;) but was their lad not offside for their goal? A couple of times in the first half SEJ side lino said Sarr was onside when he wasn’t, too slow to keep up with play, and I thought their lad was at least a yard offside. I was just waiting for the flag that never came.

    Not sure but no-one appealed...

Maybe we were all wondering how the 2 Coventry players were in so much space.

I love the way Cov fans sing ‘Our Coventry Home’ when they haven’t got one. They flogged it, rented, were homeless when they couldn’t afford the rent, went back into the rented ‘home’, which they had to share to help with the rent. Their housemates now have no money and can’t pay the rent, and their landlord has gone bust.
    ‘Our Coventry Home’ <laugh> <doh> <laugh>
And describing Watford as a ****hole! None of them have ever been to Cov then, because it’s a proper khazi.

    Arghhhhhhhyhh

A game we should have at least drawn and probably won but for wasteful finishing, Asprilla and Hungbo did more than Pedro and Sarr as subs and Kalu IF we can get him fully fit will be a good addition

Very annoying that our goal was cancelled out but theirs stood, did not see the shirt pull for our goal but how did the Coventry players have so much space for theirs

We cannot play Choudry and Keyembe in the same team, they are both defensive, at least Choudry tries to go forward, todays Keyembe just went sideways or took too long to make a pass

Bilic must have a headache form hitting his head against a wall

I know we came from behind the other night but we really do seem to be a team that need to score first.

Coventry had kept 4 clean sheets in a row beforehand and it showed in how they were organised and didn't give us much space till maybe near the end.

Pedro was particularly wasteful at times and got quite frustrated at times.

Davis did pull the defenders shirt some time before we actually scored - surprised the ref missed it or didn't blow his whistle earlier.

Kamara seems to be getting blamed for the goal and the latest target for criticism.

Both he and Sierralta are banned for Tuesday's game which is hardly helpful.

As Duggie says the midfield was rather slow and ponderous but then neither are great on the ball or in Keyembe very one footed.

Good spot for the shirt pull, then. <ok>
I thought the ref had a reasonable game. SEJ ‘assistant referee’ [edit: sorry, missed this out!] was behind play too often and left guessing, which was not good, although if Sarr had taken advantage of the two times he was offside and not given perhaps I’d have less to say about that. ;)
I was unhappy about booing of Kamara that came near the end when he was on the ball. What are we, Tottenham fans? He did range too far forward, but he’s probably told to do that, and we were caught on the counter several times. FS then had to cover HK and generally did brilliantly with that.
I think Choudhury and Kayembe are there to thwart opposition central creativity, support the defence, make interceptions and move said interceptions forward asap. I thought they largely did that, but their (well, largely Choudhury’s) passing was too wayward.
There is criticism of Bilić elsewhere. <doh> I thought he was animated, from his gestures he seemed to be saying the right things, I think he’s great. Don’t scream for a new one and then complain when you get one!

We missed too many chances, but also have to accept they ain’t all going to go top corner. “Why didn’t he volley it first time and put it top corner?” was a young man’s criticism of Sarr in the first half behind me.
It was wayward passing that was our other main problem. I thought the Sky Blues were dreadful in terms of player quality, bloody horrible, but Robins has organised them well, and they play to their limited strengths. We could, and perhaps should, have scored a hatful. But we didn’t.

    For London Colney:
    • completing short passing
    • finishing

Fair comment... and on another day we would have scored two or three and the goal ( clearly shirt pulling) would have been allowed.

I do think Bilic is a good fit for us........

and somebody send these boo boys off to Tottenham or Arsenal

Some probably do partly support those teams..

Just as well that wasn’t against Luton eh??

I think it just shows despite what the club suggested in the summer and some fans think we aren’t that good that everybody will play well each game so there will be slip ups.

If we can keep winning 3 out of 4 games we won’t be too far off and ensure the injury record improves .

I think some fans generally (not just us )?would change manager every other game a team doesn’t win tbh.
