One is better defensively - the other attacking!

Need a player who can do both really !

Femenia and Sarr don't seem to work together very well. There never seems to be enough space between them which results in too many defenders being in the same area as them. Sarr has to move more inside of Femenia needs to stay back a bit to stretch the defence more.

Good man management by Vlad with Ngakia, as the boy very nearly got himself stupidly sent off recently, the youngsters need to be in and out. Yesterday he played well when he came on and was not as impetuous as he has been. He's a real prospect.

Looks like we have a squad of riches... and can change the set up during the game..... I like the fact we now can shift gear with a substitution.... and Deeney and Gray now offer something additional .

I just hope we can keep most of these very talented these guys through the Jan window

Do you want to play for a side going up or a side coming down?

Agree re our CFs. I think Tommy Mooney was spot on with pretty much everything he said yesterday. I would like to see Sarr more central to give the wide players space to move into and an extra player in/around the box. That said, Sarr’s quality of crossing has been exceptional (and Sema’s). Sarr and Sema feeding Troy (as a No10) and Gray/Murray (as No9) would have a lot of threat. Sema and Sarr can shoot, too, so defences would have to go out to deal with them, leaving more space in the middle.

Very good point. If we maintain our current position - or improve it through improving our so far pretty ropey performances - surely there's no way anyone would want, or be allowed, to leave.

In the current formation Femenia is more creative and has been instrumental is a few of our goals
In a back four Ngakia would be a more defensive option it all depends on who can impress Vlad the most

This season, with the number of games, he is going to rotate a lot. Give a few games depending on the opposition to one guy, then swap over for one or more games. Keeps players fresh and less likely to get injured. He may keep the spine of the team i.e. he has now played Capoue 4 straight games.

Alarming at times in the highlights but a great win all told.

COYH - this season is starting to take shape. Defence is a worry after a very tight start though now we are shipping more goals.

    Deeney looked trim!

I think Ngakia has attacko=ing potential too. I think he has delivered some clever passes. I am more relaxed with his solid defending, given the 3 CB's seem to get in each others way - or persist in saying 'after you claud' quite often !
