    "As a Chelsea fan, we had no right to win that. Watford were equal if not superior in most areas of the pitch and were unlucky to lose."
    "Watford played well with Dennis looking like a quality player. They played some nice football as well as being at such high tempo in the press. They should steadily pick up points if they continue that level."
    "My Watford played well. Yes Chelsea made a lot of changes with a makeshift defensive midfield pairing, but Watford sure did more than their part in making life a misery for Saul and Loftus-Cheek all evening. Remarkable really for a team that can run us so ragged to be only one spot above the drop."

    To give Tuchel credit he was honest and admitted they were lucky and we caused problems.

    Unlike the ex Man U manager who had every excuse under the sun and actually thought they were unlucky!

    Probably explains why one is in the title race and another is at the job centre.

    Well I have just watched a replay this morning on my Firestick and I am emotionally exhausted. We deserved at least a point there. Chelsea did not know what hit them IMO and excellent performance by us, so positive and entertaining. If we play like that most games, lesser teams I hope will fold. Perhaps a little more quality in the final third would tip the balance but Mendy certainly kept them in the game (my favourite bit was when he nearly dribbled the ball into his own goal). I think we are going to conceed if our tactic is to defend in the opponents half! Everyone in our team should get a MOM for effort.

    I hope the supporter who was taken ill recovers well.

    Yes a good attacking perfromance.. weakenesses covering at the back facilitated the second goal sure..... but simply on the stats we deserved a point....... positive.....just hope our players are not too fatigued or injured for Saturday...the game was played at such a pace..

    Performance = massive tick.
    Result = grim, but pride intact.
    Masina = bad news too.

    The Man U result has helped enourmously in this tough run of fixtures. A similar performance against Ciiteeeey is needed.

    BTW - Dennis might have some resale value!!

    COYH, that's the spirit we need around the trap door end of the table.

    “This club is genuinely a family and acted as such on Wednesday evening to look after one of its own.” - Scott Duxbury.
    We are pleased to report that Larry Brooks, the supporter who collapsed during yesterday’s game at Vicarage Road, is in good spirits and being well cared for.
