Precisely - and I wouldn't mind betting that that inability is the reason for Sarr's poor performances and apparent lack of interest - he simply doesn't know what sort of service he's going to get from the rest of the 'team'.
No doubt he was out wide in space free but not getting the ball and so got frustrated and moved inside .
Watford boss gives forensic summary of the game and the club | Watford Observer seems to truth speak here.
If you think back to the days of GT, a player was not signed until things, such as his attitude to being part of a team, were taken into account. GT would want to meet with the player's family and assess his background and support they would give to him should he have to leave their son out of the team. There is the legendary story of him writing out a personal cheque when Gifton became a father at a very young age, although I don't think he got it right with Mo Johnston. I would suggest that today we are now being run by people who don't have that close relationship with the players. A young player will be brought from abroad on the basis that they might in time turn a healthy profit. The club is now more of a business, rather than the place that fans can gather to support their team.
Yes it's been driving me mad all season watching the ball go back or sideways. Forward passing is too slow so the avenue gets blocked off or there is no one moving into a useful position.
Having watched the lowlights the third goal was a bit special because 99 times out of a100 the ball goes nowhere near where it is intended For the first two goals we had a player on the line in case the ball snuck past Bachman and both times they missed the clearance Good job (or bad) I renewed my ST before that game
I did think their third goal was pretty good I must say too if i had one I would be renewing mine..... we live in hope!
