    I do think stats are often misleading, but I’ll take two and see what you make of them:

    Not incisive enough, easy to pass when no pressure - in your own half or backwards. Need to get the players to look for a forward pass earlier, but it seems that they are being coached to retain possession rather than penetrate the opposition lines

    Coached to retain possession, but failing - and very often quite miserably.
    Lord knows what GT would make of this...

    Have you seen Son's goal for Spurs today?
    At the moment he cuts in from the wing, that's when we slow down and pass back to support players!

    That sounds like a couple of the Bournemouth goals against Barnsley - slick passing and making a beeline for the penalty box at pace. It scared the pants off the Barnsley defence. We have the players capable of doing that - on second thoughts, except maybe the slick passing - but simply prefer to fart around passing the ball backwards and sideways whilst the opposition trot back and set up their defensive formation. Its just so frustrating to watch.
