last time I did a City Hogmany the buses were 24 hours and you bought a ticket on 1 bus and it lasted till something like 11am! started at 7pm I think? Started at 9.30pm WE drank halves or small tots and after 1230 at the 7th or 8th pub ! Couple we were staying with and another couple left the pub and and went to the nearest bus stop got on the first bus and went x number of stops then crashed the first party we had 2 bottles of whiskey and 1 rum we did 8 or 9 different parties used 3 different buses! last bus took us almost back home at 7 am quick visit to neighbours party and climbed in bed about 9am... ............ oh to be young again! City was Aberdeen .. ENJOY
