Watford fans on their board are complimenting us. Very gracious.

We were by far the better team today and I must confess when they pulled back to 2-1 I thought here we go again throwing away vital points. Silly old me as we went straight back down the field and scored to get back the 2 goal lead. Dream on chaps that really was Bristol City out there today and long may the new look and shape continue. Who would you drop if we had our full complement of players because everyone playing today put in a shift? The only determining factor I can see to make changes is the tight schedule over Christmas and New Year with so many games being within a short time span, and some will need a well deserved rest. Stick in a 15 goal per season striker and we will be in the Champions League the year after next - lol. :emoticon-0136-giggl

    • Looking good going into 2024
    • One point of playoffs-
The football over the last three games has been fantastic.
NP would never have got those three results LM has.
So far so good and I’m still waiting till end of Jan as promised but by god it is looking an excellent appointment.

Still very early to judge a new manager, but the signs look good at this stage, as these are 2 big sides, and Hull we have beaten on the bounce. Bloody well done to the team, I genuinely thought we’d lose by 2 goals today. So happy to be wrong!!

As good as performance in years.
I love the set up/organisation, when/not to press etc even the the last 10 minutes we caught them offside 3 times, brilliant.
If I had to shout a few out it would be Pring and Williams ( Knight is always 9/10).
All the subs made a difference as well.
There was one iffy performance - sorry but Max is just not my cup of tea.

And the awful pass early 2nd half.......... honestly <doh>
That really could have cost us.

Anyhow nothing is going to spoil my day and off to St Ives tomorrow with the family to celebrate the New Year.

We were brilliant today, had we scored when we were on top in the first half goodness knows what the score would have been. One of the best all round performances for ages, well done lads.

Wasn’t it the Sunderland game without several worldies from Max we wouldn’t have won the game. He needs another keeper to keep him on his toes, but he’s a decent championship keeper.

He made a good save in the first half where a Watford player hit a pretty decent shot on the turn.
Max didn’t have to do acrobatics for it - but he had less than a second to react.
I agree he has his dodgy moments - but if he didn’t he wouldn’t be playing for us !!!!!

Max will never be a Gordon Banks but he played under Steve Cotterill, Lee Johnson, Dean Holden, Nigel Pearson , LiamManning, even John Pemberton, he can't be that bad?

I’m off to Edinburgh for New Year. Apparently it’s nice - and I’ve been to a lot of countries in my time but I’ve never been to Scotland.

Love Scotland, wasn’t overly impressed with Edinburgh, I’d heard so much about it, so maybe I was expecting too much. Should be good for New year though, they really go for Hogmanay in a big way.
