Out of the 4 players you mention, I will give Webster a free pass because the defence has never been the problem, but the other 3 have featured heavily in various forms of our failing midfield over the past 3 years.
Again I agree. I’m not blaming Holden. I don’t think the managers are to blame (entirely) - which is exactly my point. The January LJ/SL comment was tongue in cheek to illustrate how silly it is to continue to blame LJ for anything now.
What you have described sadly is human nature. Even on here I have read posts from people stating that they hate Tony Pulis and I would wager none have even met him, I have a friend and former workmate who is a friend of Pulis from their days as apprentices at the gas and another friend who met him socially about 18 months ago and both (who are not acquainted with each other) say that he is a very nice humble unassuming type of man. I have never met LJ or Holden but I assume they are nice enough people, however my estimation of LJ went down with his public refusal to shake Steve Cotterill's hand and the subsequent bullshit excuse, however I never defined him from that one incident, but it didn't do his public image much good, sadly seemingly a family trait. My eldest granddaughter worked as a nurse at a private Clifton hospital where incoming BCFC players used to undergo their medicals and several years ago a certain German goalkeeper was incoming and undergoing his medical. After he left my granddaughter put up a photo on her social media stating, "my face when somebody tells you for the 10th time he is a professional footballer", I never defined him from that incident but he showed by his actions on the field that he was yet another of the long list of utterly crap signings, not his fault yet again he was the victim of BCFC's failed transfer policy that seems to have no structure and looks as though it is made up in a blind panic. Some on here were scathing about Hughton's so called style of football, something accumulated from football forums and not from actually witnessing it, like we have for the past 3 years of turgid, unattractive, weak, slow, predictable non creative low scoring crap we have had to endure, especially at home, again sadly human nature i'm afraid.
