Beginning to get really sick of the reporting on TV and papers at the moment. All still implying underdogs and getting facts about results needed for promotion etc wrong. Mrs A1 has just picked up the Sunday Mirror from a train journey. In the match report it says 'Watford have worked wonders to put themselves ahead of a wealthy pack of more WORTHY contenders' !!! WTF!?
My sister in law gets the Sun - just read the report and it was very complimentary. Said Birmingham caused a lot of problems but we never cracked and look the most assured.
I looked at the list of other clubs how many has been in the top div more than us , has a larger fan base , better/larger ground the thing is they are not contenders any more and the only WORTHY ones are the ones with the points in the bag

Oh yes, they have a potent attacking force, they have a team full of Italians playing for them on dubious terms*, and- oh yes, they've had four managers this season.' * though that one does seem to be fading a bit now.
Many thanks to Frenchie for updating me deep in rural France at HT and FT... and for Hackney's texts from the Vic... I have settled for second and it was my old mum 94 who actually rang me and clarified for me that Bournemouth had conceded a late goal and we were top
