To be fair they hate those gutless doggies even more than we do. That said I met several blue noses today and they were all top class. Not as top as Cathcart's strike aside. A potential Warhurst.

    Well that was nervy again!

But we got the win and 4 points might do it!

    Just go for 6 though.

Should have scored more and Birmingmam were pretty physical and we had to defend well.

That was very nervy, but amazing. Brum were not all that but we were nervous. Day made all the better getting a live commentary on the SW penalty from Mrs Bloother while we were walking away from the ground. Hoisted with their own petard <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Stunning goal from my player of the season as well. Another tense week awaits.

It was surreal Bloother - when the "top of the league" songs stoped I guessed they must have gone ahead and then on the walk to the station there were all these excited calls and text messages saying Wendy had equalised. Great stuff but the hard part comes now.

Don't think Brighton will be that easy - they lost at Wigan today so will want 3 points at home against us - at least that will mean they won't be able to sit back and defend for 90 mins.

After our game had finished the cheers from the fans on the concourse watching the results come in was almost as loud( when Wednesday equalised) as when Cathcarts great shot went in.

As soon as the game finished I gave Yorkie a ring to update him as he it out of communication range on the vineyard. Disappointed that we were not top, but then of course I discovered what had happened and had to call him again with an update. He was off to open a bottle. :emoticon-0142-happy

One thing I have not seen written about from yesterdays game was the ref. Whilst he was OK and got most things about right, he had this massively annoying habit of blowing up for fouls about 20 seconds after they happened - and 20 seconds is like an eternity in football. It was not as if he acknowledged the foul and indicated he was playing the advantage, he would just blow up in mid play and take the game back! He did it to both sides, so I am not accusing him of any kind of bias - it was just very strange.
