According to Capology he's on £15k per week. With the club in cost cutting mode, his contract running out in June, and the club operating with cheaper players who are more likely to play than him, perhaps it just makes sense to let him go now. Could be in his favour too, if he gets an offer before the window ends.

Official site says he is ours. Ex-Bayern Munich defender Tikvić joined Watford from Udinese on a season-long loan in July 2024, a move which was made permanent before the end of the August transfer window. I don't remember that happening.
Andrew French Like many of you, I had no idea Tikvic had signed permanently for #watfordfc - it was only after I wrote the story about him leaving I realized that! Have asked the club when/how long/fee, and also why no official announcement. Will update with any info I get.
