Yes -and TC has been singing his praises a fair bit too. Maybe he wanted away because he wasn't getting much game time or the lure of top flight football was too much?
This move does not make much sense when the transfer window has closed (unless Watford have a good out-of-contract player lined up). Watford are left with two senior strikers, both of whom are now on loan and neither of whom have great goal scoring records. Doumbia does not yet appear to be ready for first team football (based on his performance for the U-21 team today and against Plymouth). Rajovic may be limited as a player, but he has scored more goals than any other player in Watford's squad and in less games. Adam Leventhal is reporting that it will be a season-long loan move to Brondby with a recall option.
TC seems to be putting a lot of faith in Jebbison coming good, which his record of late hardly justifies. We saw yesterday that Rajovic was on the bench, but didn't get the call. If he is now number three in the pecking order, it is understandable that he wants to be somewhere that he will play. Ir has been suggested that it would be a loan, with a recall option that could suit player and club.
