i would have thought we'd want one where people can change their minds through the season, no? Though this does leave us open to people who just want to keep voting to spoil the vote...what do you think?
It is a dilemna, need a consensus of opinion from the regular users? It would be unfair to limit the people who can vote and I think no matter what you will get people who abuse the system!
hmm, so if we're not going to be able to vote more than once, we might as well use the poll here, no? lol
loving this recent tweet: scottloach1 scott loach hard days training today, yeates singing at dinner was very funny, settled in very quickly, not met prince yet. but 2 good signings 4 us.
That sounds most positive if our new lads can settle seamlessy into the squad can only be good and keep the tight knit unit theme carrying on !
We could set a poll up each week or significant event such as players in etc, a lot of work but we could look at the results and then judge it over several votes? to see how peoples opinions differ.
Yes, there must be a way of saving the data from each vote so it can be collated then the results could be shown at a later date?
hmm, i'm not great at spreadsheets but we can work out a point system for each answer, so for example, if there's 4 possible answers, they are given points 1- 4 for highest vote to lowest each week, the answer with the most points at the end of the season is the winner..does that make sense?
Yes I understand that, simply rate the replies? There will be anomolies i'm sure but over a period it should even itself out.
yes ...each poll there will be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th position, and they get the relative points for each placing. So one week a yes might get 4 points, the next week it gets 2..so the total so far will be 6. Sorry, i'm simplifying for me more than anything lol
Just a thought guys ,but why not use the poll thread on here say on a monthly basis then say after a season you can use office make a graph or chart showing every months results , that will also give you the trend!
