According to this he's on £61k per week. But who knows where they get their info from... https://salarysport.com/football/player/hamza-choudhury/
There's another website (Spotrac I think) which says his Watford salary is £7.5k per week - whether that means that is what our share is I don't know.
Sure the locals love it ! Brave man - looks good though. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...ornets-pub-garden-near-luton/#comments-anchor
. Yes, it sort of comes with the territory in his position. I don’t think he’s dirty, but he gets stuck in, and sometimes he mistimes his tackles (even he isn’t perfect) and they can look worse than he intended. I like him very much.
The issue with Chaudhury is that he is good for the Championship but not enough for the Prem. He breaks up play but can't transition well enough. In fact our 2 new CB's pass the ball better. I'm not saying we won't buy him but it must be 50/50
Also, it's only a trickle so far but if we continue to recycle coaches or managers at the rate we do, eventually all EPL managers will be ex Watford!! Good luck to Javi
I think it’s a value for money situation. Yes, he’s very good, but is he a luxury. Re his passing, he did play that beautiful pass to Gaspar that led to a goal. Our most damaging passes at the moment, I think, are those longitudinal passes like that, straight through the defensive lines. A bugger to defend.
So while the first part is work in progress, we’re doing OK on the latter two parts of Bob the Builder’s mantra, ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!’?
Harry Amass called up for the England Under 16 squad . How long till he is poached ? https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/23339355.watford-defender-amass-england-u16s-cyprus/
Having been called up seven times previously, I think - and hope - that any poaching would have been done by now. I'm torn between hoping he does well, but not wanting him to help England beat Scotland tomorrow.
