Grieves unlucky with two efforts

Once Arsenal were 4-2 up we started to get free kicks again

 

I thought they did well, but was disappointed by some of the throwing up of arms in despair at teammates’ failings. At 2-2 it was full tilt, and if you’re not pulling together, there’s only one direction you’ll go.

Shame, because we seemed to being making so many interceptions up till then, Arsenal were giving the ball away and we were creating. If you’d had to guess at half-time who was going to win 4-2, you’d have been sure it was going to be us.

 

Yes the penalty knocked us sideways and their subs made a big difference.

Greater pace and tempo.

Plus we had to make a defensive change .

Also our keeper made good saves throughout the game but unlike in the first half they got to the rebound first .
