If you were a player, you'd want to play for your country. Moreover, you wouldn't want to risk making an injury worse. Like Mark said, injuries happen, unintentionally. It's all a load of nonsense really!
That's the trouble with the wobby comments though... a complete lack of understanding and the lowest common denominator applies.
Exactly I have never read the comments, sometimes read the articles. They are not that bad, at least someting about the club locally written.
I know we aren't having a good season and obviously tonight was very poor but ti does sadden me a bit people have become so toxic online. Is that what our fan base will become from now on - we'd had the mid table Premier league bug for a while so anything less is totally unacceptable?. Angry all the time unless we win (or even if we win!) I find some of our fans even less supportive of managers than the Pozzos seem to be tbh! Some were calling for Hodgson to go before he even got through 2 games - if we want someone who sounds good in the media and waves to the fans we'll have Munoz back. You don't read peoples view on a game now - just loads of cross and aggressive emotional views. Maybe that is because the players and football in general seems to be so distanced from the ordinary fan? When we weren't that good in the 90s or mid 00s it didn't quite so bad as the "lads" cared and wanted to play for the club in the eyes of fans. Now they are all multi millionaires on x thousands a week from all over the world and probably don't kiss the badge each week.
You are so right. All I ask for is full professionalism and effort from our players, when that is missing it really irks me. But, on with the show, we are punching above our $financial$ weight in the Prem really. it's tough getting pasted most games mind, really tough.
Social media is so bad this morning... trouble is it is always a platform for extreme views... .and I only look at FB........
Ah, FB. Amazing what they let folks get away with on there. I write as someone who has had issues with that platform. Apparently it's quite okay to be racist, sexist, anti-Semitic, spout extremist propaganda, misogynist, anti-vax, anti-science, flearther, conspiracy theorist, chemtrail protagonist, religious bigot... but not to call out such BS
Today's U23 line up - I wonder how many of these will be here next season? please log in to view this image
It's the lack of accountability of the bots; the inability to plea your case when unjustly reported; the sheer anonymity enabling the protection of the malicious. Zuckerburg has create an absolute f*****g monster and a harbour for unreasonable behaviour.
Feel this is inevitable https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ess-prevent-relegation.html#comments-10604585 Never mind the board or players the fans really don’t like him due to his style of football and media personality.
Apparently Diego Martinez who was Granada manager a few years ago has been seen at London Colney several times this year Next week is an international break Hold the front page
If he replaces Roy before the end of the season, I can see a transfer window for managers being introduced next season...
I sort of feel that constant changing of managers to see if they can build a bunch of players into a team is not working. Perhaps we should try the alternative appoint a long term manager and constantly change the players until the manager has a bunch that works. I do realise we sort of do that as well. Individually our players are pretty good and everyone talks a good game so am non plused as to what it wrong at Watford.
Everyone will just say he has been appointed as he knows the Pozzos like Ranieri. And look how that ended . The Pozzos will be thinking about staying up - not being in the Championship.
