"(The fact that Giampaolo Pozzo was sanctioned for match-fixing in Serie A while controlling Udinese does not get much airtime either.)"

Probably because he has had nothing to do with Watford since the Pozzos came I think.

Gino runs the club by himself with help from Scott Duxbury.

And it was some 30 odd years in a different league.

Plus the forged letter was due to a chairman who was quickly replaced.

I am sure if the Premier league thought there was any issue they would have acted on it.

Wasn't sure where to post this, but....

...not only is it rare for Fort William to be in the lead in a football match (and they now lead Inverness Clachnacuddin 3-1) but there is a loose Watford connection. According to his LinkedIn profile, the delightfully named scorer is apparently a steward at Vicarage Road.

I was contemplating taking out a subscription - just to respond to him by pointing out his errors. But he'd probably have it deleted...

I know all this, but how many times do I speak of “the Pozzos’ ownership”?!!

I guess he might give advice to Gino but isn’t a part of the club as a employee I presume?

The ‘happy with the manager’ bit are the very words I have been spouting. Outsiders generally don’t get it, but they don’t understand our structure and haven’t seen us play.
Player from the past would have to be the great LB himself. Because he wouldn’t have spurned opportunities in the box like we have so far.

It's bizarre. I really don't see that Gino (or the Pozzo family) have any motivation other than to make sustainable profits for themselves from football, and have some sporting fun along the way. Gino hasn't murdered someone who criticised him and had his body chopped up with a bone saw.

Interesting to see that only Norwich are below us if this is correct.

I would have plumped for Cliff Holton - he never spurned them from outside of the box either.

Not to mention that, compared to the others, he has an admirable record on Human Rights...

Sarr played for 90 minutes and although he didn't score Senegal beat Namibia 3-1.
