Front 3 looked good, Hernandez, Deeney, Sarr (King wasn't given much of a chance as so many changes made soonafter he came on). Midfield was too similar a mix but obviously not the starting players although Etebo did himself no harm at all. At the back the Masina injury could be a problem if Rose can't get fit quickly.

We'll have to sell Hughes I guess rather than lose him for a free. Gray can think all he wants - but will have to prove it which seems unlikely. There is a reason why we have brought 3 strikers in.

Adalberto Peñaranda (who is on loan from Watford) was involved in the first goal (when Garcia scored after Sá had saved a shot from Peñaranda) and Peñaranda scored the second goal himself in a breakaway after he had switched direction (bamboozling Neves) before scoring with his left foot.
Agreed. Peñaranda clearly has the talent, but his attitude needs to improve and he seems to lack the application which is necessary to succeed..
