    The club website is reporting that João Pedro injured his knee in the training game against Millwall ten days ago and that he will be sidelined for a few weeks. Does that mean that we shall not see him play again until after Christmas?

    Not a good start to the afternoon - a 1-3 defeat by Brentford. I haven't seen a teamsheet, but our scorer was Henry Wise, which suggests an U23 team. Two of Brentford's goals came from Ivan Toney.

    Sounds like a much improved Watford in the 2nd half. Mebude shoots wide when it would have been easier to score, Sarr penalty appeal dismissed after he was brought down from behind in the area, Sarr forces the keeper into a good save after beating the offside trap, Sarr cross from the left blocked preventing a tap in opportunity...

    Subs - King on for Sarr, Crichlow for Deeney, Pochettino for Etebo and Wise on for Hernandez
