Apparently Millwall have signed Jordan Stewart, what a shame that we appear to have missed out on another quality signing

 

I wonder what he will be paid there?

I read that Matt Sadler had to take a pay drop from £8,000 pw to £950 pw. If true, I hope that he put a bit by to help him through the coming days.

 

That is quite a pay cut, but I am sure the poor lamb will cope after what we have been paying him!

 

It's still just short of £50k a year... I think he'll cope!!

 

Not if he has a mega-mortgage. If he was willing to take such a cut why could we not have made such an offer.

 

Because he's not very good?

 

I believe that due to his previous contract he has to leave - we could maybe sign him back in January?
It was the crippling financial clauses that ment he couldn't play for us & signing an extention would not solve the problem.

 

How would watching Steffi Graf play tennis help us?

Boro away has been put back to 5:20 for TV coverage. Personally that works out very well for me, because it wasn't particularly high on the list of away games I think I'll get to. But I feel for the people who were considering a round trip.

I'm thrilled, i have to go and stay with my brother in law and his family that weekend, it'll be a bit of light relief in an otherwise dreary day!

Just had a look at Observer Owl twittering away or whatever it does. People have seen copy of the Mr B interview and seem to think it very detailed and positive. I wonder if we will come to the same conclusion?

Would still like to see some players in to fill the holes and no amount of spin is going to change that ,even if we do have another rich crop from the academy coming through!

 

I agree Norway, new fresh blood from the academy is fine but we need some experience brought/bought in!

 

It is good to see that the club are being honest with the fans on this one, even if it reflects badly on someone in the past.
